This mod allows the player to apologize for unintended attacks which offers the possibility to defuse unintended combat actions without destroying friendly relations for no reason at all.
How it works:
- player must have neutral or better relations towards a faction to be able to stop an ongoing fight
- player can contact a now hostile ship over the comm menu (c) and select "Apologize for attack" (ship must have a pilot)
- all hostile ships and stations of the selected ship's faction in the sector are dropping hostile actions towards the player's ships unless reengaged
- permanent faction loss will still happen, but the player is able to stop escalations before the real relation damage is done (when shit starts blowing up)

Installation:
Download the file, extract the apologizeforattack folder and move it to your extensions folder.
Deinstallation:
Simply remove the file, no savegame issues whatsoever.
