X Rebirth is a space simulator created by Egosoft Studios, the creators of the previous games from X series. However, this is not a straightforward sequel - the developers decided to rethink the main assumptions behind their iconic game series and introduce new ideas. The main goal was to simplify the game without sacrificing its many features and gameplay mechanics.

RelationTalks allows the player to apologize for unintended attacks which offers the possibility to defuse unintended combat actions without destroying friendly relations for no reason at all.
How it works:
- player must have better relations than + 10 to a faction to be able to stop an ongoing fight
- player can contact a now hostile ship or station over the comm menu (c) and select "Apologize for attack" (3)
- all hostile ships and stations of the selected ship's faction in the zone are dropping hostile actions towards the player's ships unless reengaged
- playerships in zone will stop fireing for short while unless given a new command
- permanent faction loss will still happen, but the player is able to stop escalations before the real relation damage is done (when shit starts blowing up)

Installation:
Download the file, extract the relationtalks folder and move it to your extensions folder.
Deinstallation:
Simply remove the file, no savegame issues whatsoever.
