A Judge imposed reporting restrictions on the identity of the accused following an application by Garda McDermott based on "the current climate in the country".
The Justice system and #Gardai who are supposed to protect our children are colluding to protect the identity of child predators.
The 25-year-old man has been before Dublin District Court after walking out of an apartment building with a young child he did not know, "under his arm" (he picked up the child and carried them away).
The man was arrested Sunday after the incident on Saturday September 14th and was charged with unlawfully attempting to take or detain a child under 16.
The district court heard the man was at a party in an apartment building on the north side of the city but left and then attempted to abduct the 5 year old.
He was seen on CCTV footage interacting with two young children aged five and 10. The court heard he did not know the children.
Garda Laura McDermott told the court that at one point the man was seen leaving the building and walking away with the five-year-old under his arm. The older child (God bless them) bravely followed him and the man was then seen returning with both children.
The court heard that when arrested, the man replied: "I was not taking a child anywhere. I am not a person like that. I did not have any intentions with a child. I did not have any bad or unwanted intentions with the child."
So what intentions DID he have then?
The man's solicitor, Michael Kelleher, told the court the man was in the building at a party and was intoxicated.
When this man is let out (and you can bet he will be soon), no one will know he is a danger to children. Does he live in the vicinity of the attempted kidnapping, and therefore in the vicinity of the children? This is not clear.
Judge Gerard Jones said it was a very serious matter and remanded the accused in custody, but only until Wednesday Sept 18th when the man will appear again at Cloverhill District Court. If the judge took the matter seriously then be would prioritise publicly identifying the man in the interests of keeping the public safe.
What can we learn from this... Nothing we don't already know.
The Justice system protects child predators, particularly non Irish ones.
The Gardaí do not serve to protect Irish children (or migrant ones for that matter).
They tell us that our children are safe.
They LIE
The tell us migrants are vetted.
THEY LIE. (tracing them is actually almost impossible anyway).
They tell us that there's no increase in crime relating to migrants.
They LIE.
In the past year alone the number of predatory aggravated stranger assaults (where the attacker or would be kidnapper is unknown to the victim) is alarming. And YES, I can back that up with facts (so go ahead, ask me for links). It is unprecedented. Previous to all this open borders madness, stranger attacks were rare.
One look at the cases being reported tells us that.
And then we have to ask, how many are NOT being reported.
As for children, I hate to say it, but the days of letting them play outside your own home are gone.
Talk to your children about stranger danger.
How long before we have a Lola Daviet case? Lola was a 12 year old girl kidnapped, raped, tortured and stuffed in a suitcase by a failed female asylum seeker in France.
How long before we have a case like 9 year old Luna in Sweden? Accosted on her way from from school only to be raped and strangled with her Shoelaces by Abushi Shamse Kamal. She now requires 24 hour care from 4 full time carers. She is permanently confined to a wheelchair, cannot speak and is brain-damaged.
It's a matter of time before a child is taken and doesn't come home, or maybe they'll come home in a wheelchair and permanently brain damaged.
Don't let that child be YOUR child... and for God's sake if you haven't already done so, then wake up in relation to what's really going on.
