Top Jockey Johnathan Parkes Dies Suddenly at 35: ‘Absolutely Stunned’

 The horse racing community is in mourning following the tragic news that celebrated jockey Johnathan Parkes has died suddenly.
The horse racing champion with more than 1,000 wins was just 35 years old when he passed away.
The famous New Zealand rider had 12 Group 1 victories to his name.
Parkes’s cause of death and any circumstances regarding his sudden passing have been withheld from the public.
A statement from New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing confirmed his passing over the weekend.
It read: “On behalf of the New Zealand Racing Industry, NZTR is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of highly respected jockey Johnathan Parkes.
“Our thoughts are with Johnathan’s closest family and friends at this time.”
